In China, Xiangsi is meant by a feeling of yearning between relatives, friends and lovers. The name of Xiangsi mountain is originated from a beautiful legend of Liu Bang（The first emperor in Han Dynasty) visiting Zhang Liang(A great strategist and politician in Han Dynasty). Situated at the eastwest of Yueyang County, it borders on Tongcheng, Hubei, stretching over 10 kilometers. The average sea level of Xiangsi Mountain is above 700m, among which its main peak, Xiangsi peak is 957.2m. The Xiangsi peak has a average temperature of 15℃, which is a terrific place to spend a summer holiday as well.

The tourist area is made up of by the love culture ecological tourist valley, Xiangsi cliff, Xiangsi peak, Tianhu temple and Xiangsi village. Invested by the Shenzhen Wangshiming Science and Technology Ltd with 500 million RMB, it opened business on May 1st, 2004. The goal of the developer is to turn the tourist resorts to a world famous love culture resort.

Speaking of Xiangsi Mountain’s geographic position, it is very convenient and favorable. It lies at the junction of the 107 national road, the Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, the Beijing-Guangzhou Expressway and the golden waterway of Yangtze River. Besides, it is only 79 kilometers away from Yueyang downtown. It also only takes 2 hours to Changsha Huanghua airport.

Under the foot of the Xiangsi Mountain, there stands a Xiangsi Bay Rose Park, which is a terrific place to spend a summer holiday. Based on the abundant natural and cultural sights and at the subject of yearning, the park shows domestic and foreign love poems and essays inscribed on stones against the beautiful valleys.
