16th "Chinese Bridge" Contestants Arrive in Changsha

On July 12, 2017, 145 contestants for 16th "Chinese Bridge" Foreign College Student Chinese Proficiency Competition arrived at Changsha Huanghua International Airport after wrapping up a two-day cultural trip in Beijing.

It was the first time for most of them to visit China and Changsha. They got a warm reception from volunteers at the airport. Though they have different nationalities and cultures, they are going to experience the charm of Chinese language in the coming fierce contests and colorful cultural tours.

On July 13, they had a written exam as scheduled. Later they will participate in the "Cross the Bridge" Competition which is a Chinese speech contest and talent show; the quarter; semi-; and, finals.

On August 12, the final and closing ceremony, directed by the Hunan TV team, will be held at a studio of Hunan Mass Media Vocational and Technical College.
