Western Hunan Xiaoxi National Wilderness Area, located in the south of the famous Mengdong River Scenic Zone, is a natural zoo and botanical garden covering an area of 13000 acres. Rolling hills, endless sea of forest, ancient and abysmal vines and fascinating beast make the Xiaoxi National Wilderness Area an inviting and wonderful fairy land.

In this preserved zone, There are 26 kinds of rare trees and 31 rare animal which are national preserved.
