Hunan Spring Rural Cultural Tourism Festival Opens

The 2019 Hunan Spring Rural Cultural Tourism Festival kicks off on April 11 in the Cailun Bamboo Sea Scenic Area in Leiyang, Hengyang. This festival features natural scenery and folk culture, to show Leiyang’s splendid landscapes, profound culture, and distinctive folk customs. It will raise the cultural tourism profile of Leiyang as a “Millennium county”, “Hometown of Cailun - inventor of paper and the papermaking process”, and “Departure place for the joining of Red Army forces at Jinggang Mountain”.
