Miao People Celebrates Siyueba Festival

Miao people perform lion dance to celebrate their annual “Siyueba Festival”, which falls on May 22 this year. Over 10,000 Miao people from Jishou, Huayuan, Fenghuang, and Baojing attended the observations held in Aizhai Town, Jishou City despite the rain. The “Siyueba Festival” (the eighth day of the fourth lunar month) or “Yanu Festival”, is a traditional festival mainly observed by Miao ethnic group nationwide. (Photo/Yao Fang)
