Light Festival Opens in Changde

The Second Light Festival was just opened at Fenglin Huahai Scenic Spot, Taoyuan County, Changde City. The scenic spot has been transformed by more than 40 sets of themed light displays.

Virtual Reality (VR) devices have been introduced to provide tourists with a better visual experience. A large 3D ground painting, the first of its kind in Hunan, is unveiled to the public. It depicts the scenes of the real world where tourist can capture 3D illusions.

Foodies might enjoy some competitive eating arranged, which includes delicious food from all over the province. Cash prizes are offered as well. A beer drinking competition is planned.

The festival will continue till September 20.
