Zhangjiajie among the Pilot Cities of National

It is learnt from the Zhangjiajie Municipal Tourism Bureau that the pilot campaign for the comprehensive reform of the national tourism was officially launched, and 4 cities were included among the first batch of pilot cities including Zhangjiajie in Hunan Province, while the other three are Chengdu in Sichuan Province, Qinhuangdao in Hebei Province, and Zhoushan in Zhejiang Province.

The pilot campaign is an important task put forward by the State Council in the Suggestions on Accelerating the Development of Tourism. The comprehensive reform shall adhere to five guidelines, namely, promoting scientific development through reform; being market-oriented; taking the establishment, improvement and innovation of institutional mechanisms as the foci; integrating with the country's overall strategy; and pushing forward the reform through opening-up.
