After raining in spring and summer in Zhangjiajie, there grows lichen(The local name is Sand Laura mushroom), a kind of dark green mushroom grown on the hilltop and rock wall. On the frist sight, you may think it is very normal and even ugly for its dark color, but when the sand laura mushroom is made into a cuisine , your sense organs are enchanted by its good-looking color and smell.

Firstly, after gathering enough mushrooms, wash them with clean water for many times, then fry them with pickled sour pepper and garlic. When the dish is cooked, spread some chives and a local speical snack combined with colour, aroma and taste.
