We have searched the scientific name for a long time about this wild fruits, but in vain. Bearing a resemblance to pomegranate, it is called Hong XiuQiu by local people, a kind of small ball made of red strips of silk, and it grows on the century-old sargentgloryvine stem which clings to steep. It will turn red when it grows ripe.
It is a very rare and precious fruit in ZJJ. As to its function and taste, I can’t find any information, if you have come to ZJJ and are interested in it, maybe you can share with us!
