ZJJ Sangzhi Jiutian Cave is discovered by Warrior Wang Hai, A mountain cave explorers, in 1987. In 1988 it is was officially open to visitors and listed as provincial scenic area. In the same year, After investigation and evaluation of international cave experts, They agreed that Jiutian large has unique landscape and there are a number of caves that were not developed. So it was suitable for carrying out expedition. Therefore, International Karst Cave Organization formally accepted Jiutian as a member of it and identified Jiutian cave as a base for exploration. After exploration, it is found that there are old trees and other fossil karst cave inside the cave. It is a rare natural landscape and also has high scientific value.
