When you come to Zhangjiajie, Do not miss Tujia Food. Food of Tujia Nationality in Zhangjiajie is of strong local feature with combination of essence of Hunan food. Hunan food is famous for its spicy taste. Tujia food is not exception. Apart from spicy food, Tujia people are also keen on sour, preserved and pickled food which is absolutely of unique flavor. Strongly suggest you to have a taste of specalty like preserved pig head, blood tofu, soybean sediment, fish with pickled Chinese cabbage, loach throughing into tofu, soup with silkie and gastrodia eleta and so on.

If you have dinner within scenic zone, The cost will be higher than in downtown. In scenic zone, food with meat is usually over RMB25 and vegetable food is over RMB25. In downtown, four people could have a good dish which only spends you RMB200 at food stall.

Tips：

1.In ZJJ National Forest Park, It’s a great chance to taste tasty corn and wild kiwi fruit which you have little access to them in big city.
